Based in Denmark, Copenhagen, Jan is the Group CEO and a true pioneer of the freight forwarding industry. Leveraging more than 36 years experience, Jan’s vision and passion to deliver beyond expectations underpins Airland’s business model and is translated through its success.

An entrepreneur and ‘first mover’ in continents such as Africa and the Middle East, Jan has played a founding role in the development of new global trade lanes and logistics best practice. A trusted mentor and hands on leader, Jan travels frequently to stay abreast of his clients’ operations, resourcing requirements and future needs.

Able to translate complex project requirements into transportable solutions, Jan is highly regarded in the automotive, mining and pharmaceuticals sectors, and is frequently consulted by businesses that service NGOs and the UN.

Since purchasing Airland in 2003, Jan has achieved rapid growth, opening seven new offices worldwide and creating a major import department focused on Asia.

Based in Denmark, Copenhagen, Claus is the Group Director for Europe. Joining Airland in 1981 before co-purchasing the business in 2003, Claus has played a founding role in Airland’s success in entering new strategic markets and facilitating global network growth.

Dividing his time between the management of the Company’s European operations and regional office development, Claus handles the negotiation, scheduling, forecasting and assignment of appropriate resources to support the operational and financial objectives of large-scale projects

Committed to selecting the right service providers to achieve best outcomes on service and price, Claus drives a business culture of honesty, integrity and proactivity – and is a trusted mentor and advisor.

Claus’ 39 years experience in air freight has seen him significantly expand Airland’s outbound business from Europe into Africa, America and the Middle East, while developing an unrivalled knowledge of local customs, transport and industry regulations.

Passionate about maintaining personal client relationships, Claus travels frequently between supplier and client sites in order to find new ways to optimise production and transport efficiencies.

Tony is the Group Director of Airland Logistics Asia Pacific. Overseeing global sales and marketing, Tony’s entrepreneurial passion and resources focus has been a critical success factor in the rapid growth of the Company’s Australian and SE Asian operations.

Tony’s ability to deliver unique and sometimes high-risk transport solutions can be attributed to a career spanning more than 23 years in the global freight forwarding industry.

Working his way from the bottom up, Tony gained first hand experience in all facets of the logistics business, from air, sea and multimodal transport through to customs, load mastery and sales.

Partnering with clients throughout the complete project lifecycle, Tony’s service model is aligned with critical decision points to support the achievement of financial and operational objectives. His unique understanding of mining related industries, combined with specialist country knowledge, enables Tony to provide unique logistical solutions from the point of mobilisation through exploration, construction and production.
